For salesforce.com users, when saving a PDF and choosing the option to "Attach to CRM", when the option "Use SalesForce Files instead of Attachments" is unchecked, the file extension of the file will now be added to the File title when it is uploaded to salesforce.com. Without this extension, in salesforce.com when you would try to download and save the file, there would be a blank file extension.

On the SaveFile dialog when saving a PDF from the Preview window, the "Attach to CRM" file title will now automatically change to match the File name (minus the file extension) if you start manually changing the file name on this window.

For Hubspot CRM users, file attachments were not able to be uploaded. This issue was a result of the Hubspot CRM outage on May 27, 2022. After the outage, the file upload API url used was no longer valid and had to be updated.

HubSpot CRM integration! The integration with HubSpot CRM includes the ability to search for contacts, create/update Deals, and upload quote attachments to HubSpot CRM. DataLink is supported for Contacts, Accounts, Deals and LineItems. The HubSpot CRM Product Database is available on the Product Lookup. You can attach files to the HubSpot CRM Deal from the PDF Preview window, the Links tab, and the Print window. There is a button on the SoldTo/ShipTo tab to display the SoldToContact, ShipToContact, or BillToContact in HubSpot CRM, and also a link on the Links tab that you can click to view the HubSpot CRM Deal in HubSpot CRM. Additionally, emails sent from QuoteWerks are logged in HubSpot CRM history. QuoteWerks integrates with all editions of HubSpot CRM, however, if you want to integrate with the HubSpot Deal Line Items, then HubSpot Professional edition or higher is required. The Professional or Corporate Edition of QuoteWerks is required to integrate with HubSpot CRM.

For QuoteValet users, when a customer selects options on QuoteValet that changes the quote total, if integrated with a CRM, the DTF file and Linked document attachment will be updated in the CRM, and you will be prompted to update the CRM opportunity if a CRM Opportunity has been created for the quote. This applies to ACT!, and ACT! for Web.

For MS CRM 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 users the QuoteWerks linked document now attaches to the MS CRM opportunity instead of the MS CRM Account. This also applies to any file attaching that QuoteWerks performs with MS CRM, so the automatic attachment of PDF quotes sent to customers will attach to the opportunity (if any). The same applies when attaching files from the Links tab of the Quote WorkBook.

Attach File to CRM feature. With this feature you can automatically and manually attach files to your CRM. When emailing a quote to your customer as a PDF file, the PDF file will automatically be attached. When uploading a quote to QuoteValet and Emailing the customer the notification, the PDF file of the quote will automatically be attached. You can manually attach a file to your CRM by right clicking on a file in the Links tab, on the Print Preview window, and also from the Print window Save as PDF option. This makes the PDF version of the quote viewable by any colleagues that have access to the CRM record without having to have QuoteWerks installed. Particularly useful for the service or technical side of the business having access to the details of the job that was quoted. This new feature is turned on by default and can be controlled with the setting "[]Automatically attach PDF sent to customer by E-Mail or QuoteValet to the CRM Account or Opportunity." located on the Print tab of the Tools->Options menu.When using this feature with Autotask, ConnectWise, salesforce.com, you need to attach the quote to an opportunity first. Once the quote is associated with the CRM opportunity, QuoteWerks knows to automatically attach the PDF to the CRM Opportunity. When using this feature with ACT! 2005+, GoldMine, Outlook, Outlook BCM, MS CRM, Maximizer 10+, SugarCRM, and SalesLogix you need to link the quote to a CRM contact first. Once the quote is linked with the CRM contact, QuoteWerks knows to automatically attach the PDF to the CRM contact.

For Emails sent using the Built-in SMTP email, the pdf or rtf file for the quote/order/invoice that is attached in the email will now be saved in the QuoteWerks\History\Email folder. Previously this only happened if you used GoldMine as your CRM or if you sent emails through Outlook from within QuoteWerks. The file name will have a postfix added to it to ensure unique file names. Only the quote document file itself is saved here. Copies of literature or spec sheet documents will not be saved here.

When creating an attachment record in MS CRM, the note has now been modified to read "Right click on the attachment file and select Open to open the QuoteWerks document." since the positioning of the note relative to the attachment has changed.
