For Autotask users, Autotask can now be used as a Secondary CRM. The Secondary CRM feature makes it possible for you to use your Primary CRM to create quotes and do all the back and forth, and then when the Quote becomes an Order, then you can use the Secondary CRM feature to integrate the Order including creating the customer, opportunity, products, etc in the Secondary Contact Manager. The benefit is that you can fill one CRM system with all quotes, leads, and products that you may never sell, and then only push orders, actual customers, actual products you have sold into the Secondary CRM system. The Secondary CRM can be selected on the Contacts->Setup Contact Manager window. There is a setup option of "Display Secondary CRM Export Window on each Save" which, if checked, will automatically pop up this export window after conversion to an Order, and after each save. You can access this feature using the Tools->Export to Secondary CRM menu.

For Autotask users, new quotes can now be created starting with an Autotask Opportunity. When a new opportunity is created in Autotask or an existing opportunity in Autotask is set to have an opportunity stage of "Create Quote" or other pre-defined stage, the Autotask Opportunity will appear in the QuoteWerks My Summary Dashboard under the Notifications section. From there you can click on the "Create Quote for Autotask Opportunity" link. This will create a new quote in QuoteWerks and populate the SoldTo information with the customer information associated with the opportunity. It will also associate the opportunity with the quote so that when saving the quote this existing opportunity will be updated. This feature was designed so that you can have a person out in the field creating a new Autotask opportunity using Autotask mobile and just enter some basic specifications for the opportunity. Then back in the office, the person assigned to create quotes will automatically be notified that they need to create a quote for this opportunity. The same concept applies even if the opportunity is created using regular Autotask vs Autotask Mobile. From the Notifications section on the Dashboard, you can also click on a link to view the opportunity in Autotask.

For Autotask users, when receiving items on the QuoteWerks Purchasing window, the item(s) will be received in Autotask along with the serial number received (if specified). For QuoteWerks to mark the items as received in Autotask, the items must already be on a Purchase Order that QuoteWerks created in Autotask. To enable this receiving feature, check the checkbox "Sync Received Items to Autotask" on the Settings tab of the Autotask setup window. Also on this window, the Purchase Order Integration must be set to Autotask.

For Autotask users, you can now create Purchase Orders in Autotask. Under the new Tools->Purchasing menu you have access to all the Order items in QuoteWerks and can easily create Autotask Purchase Orders that contain items from one or multiple orders. Items that do not exist in Autotask will be created. Additionally if using the Online Ordering feature of the real-time module, after the items are ordered you will be asked if you want to create a Purchase Order in Autotask for the items you just ordered electronically. To enable this functionality, select Autotask as the Purchase Order Integration on the Settings tab of the Autotask setup window.

For Autotask users, when QuoteWerks creates a new product in Autotask, the QuoteWerks Item's Manufacturer Part Number will be mapped to both the Autotask Product SKU and Manufacturer Product Name. Prior to this update, it was only mapped to the Manufacturer Product Name. This is helpful, because in Autotask, you can easily search for a Product by the SKU field, but cannot search by Manufacturer Product Name.

Attach File to CRM feature. With this feature you can automatically and manually attach files to your CRM. When emailing a quote to your customer as a PDF file, the PDF file will automatically be attached. When uploading a quote to QuoteValet and Emailing the customer the notification, the PDF file of the quote will automatically be attached. You can manually attach a file to your CRM by right clicking on a file in the Links tab, on the Print Preview window, and also from the Print window Save as PDF option. This makes the PDF version of the quote viewable by any colleagues that have access to the CRM record without having to have QuoteWerks installed. Particularly useful for the service or technical side of the business having access to the details of the job that was quoted. This new feature is turned on by default and can be controlled with the setting "[]Automatically attach PDF sent to customer by E-Mail or QuoteValet to the CRM Account or Opportunity." located on the Print tab of the Tools->Options menu.When using this feature with Autotask, ConnectWise, salesforce.com, you need to attach the quote to an opportunity first. Once the quote is associated with the CRM opportunity, QuoteWerks knows to automatically attach the PDF to the CRM Opportunity. When using this feature with ACT! 2005+, GoldMine, Outlook, Outlook BCM, MS CRM, Maximizer 10+, SugarCRM, and SalesLogix you need to link the quote to a CRM contact first. Once the quote is linked with the CRM contact, QuoteWerks knows to automatically attach the PDF to the CRM contact.

Etilize 2.0 UI redesign and enhancements. Now includes accessories, spec sheets, website links, and support for multiple part numbers for the same item. The Etilize panel is now available on both the Product Lookup window and the Quote WorkBook, making it easy to update existing items on existing quotes with updated Etilize information. Etilize information is no longer just displayed when searching Etilize on the Product Lookup window, the Etilize panel now displays when searching individual product databases including Autotask and ConnectWise products. When searching for Etilize Products from the Product Lookup, you can narrow down the results by Category, Sub-Category, Manufacturer, and you can also limit the results to only items carried by distributors that you have setup real-time pricing for. Pricing is now available from CDW, Newegg, Dell, and Amazon. Etilize product content is now supported for UK Customers. To top it all off the Etilize integration now boasts a 7x speed increase!

Autotask is now supported with the new built-in Autotask link. This new integration is available in the Corporate Edition of QuoteWerks. The integration includes: a) Autotask can be searched to find Contacts to pull into the quote. b) QuoteWerks will create/update a Sales opportunity in Autotask. You can attach to existing Autotask opportunities or create new opportunities in Autotask. c) QuoteWerks will create/update an attachment to the quote under the Attachments tab in the Autotask Opportunity. This can be used to open the quote that the opportunity refers to. If this is a remote install or satellite office, opening that document link will import that quote into that QuoteWerks installation. d) QuoteWerks will create/update the Autotask Quote associated with the Opportunity. Line Items in QuoteWerks are automatically attached to the Autotask Quote. Products that do not already exist in Autotask are created in the Autotask master product database. Recurring revenue forecasting options are also supported. e) QuoteWerks can link to the Autotask Products and Services databases as Product Data Sources. From within QuoteWerks you can search the Autotask databases and add these products and services to your QuoteWerks quote. f) There is a "Display contact in contact manager" button on the SoldTo / ShipTo tab that will open the Autotask Contact in Autotask for the SoldTo, ShipTo, or BillTo linked contact. g) There is a "Display Opportunity in contact manager" button on the QuoteWerks Create/Update Autotask Opportunity window that will open the Autotask Opportunity in Autotask. h) There is a "Display Quote in contact manager" button on the QuoteWerks Create/Update Autotask Quote window that will open the Autotask Quote in Autotask.
