For QuoteValet Mobile users, we've updated the user interface, fixed some UI issues like the issue when scrolling through multiple pages of the NEW template list. You can now select a contact for the Mobile quote from Autotask, and we've updated QuoteValet Mobile to work with the new ConnectWise REST API. Posted live August-23-2017.

On the Open Document window, when selecting multiple documents and clicking on the [Delete] button, the documents were not being deleted from QuoteValet, including QuoteValet Mobile and QuoteValet OrderForm Templates.

Introducing QuoteValet Web. Gain insight and have mobile access to your QuoteValet Executive Dashboard, StatusBoard, Leaderboard, Inbox, Peer Reviews, and Approvals, anywhere, anytime from any web device like your phone, tablet, or PC. QuoteValet Web is a browser based solution and is included in your QuoteValet subscription at no additional charge. QuoteValet Web is packed with features, here are just some of the highlights. Executive Summary: Gain insight into your business with the Executive Dashboard. From this dashboard you can see the total number and dollar amount of all quotes sent, accepted, and paid for any given date range. You can see the top quotes and orders (by $ amount), all documents that were viewed by customers, any customer comments, or sales rep comments. When reviewing each of these documents, you can use the [Send Note] feature to email the sales rep feedback or questions about the quote and you can easily cc their supervisor. Also in the dashboard is the Comparitive Analysis which gives you a pivot table like breakdown of your sales reps performance based on number of quotes, number of orders, dollar amount of quotes and dollar amounts of orders generated within a specified date range. Great for comparing the performance between sales reps. StatusBoard: The Status Board shows a non-interactive version of the Inbox for all users, but limits the notifications to priority notifications like quote acceptance, payments, customer comments, and expired quote viewed. This is meant to be run and displayed on a large monitor in the sales area so that the sales manager can see that all QuoteValet customer activity has been addressed, like all orders have been processed, etc. It automatically refreshes every minute to get you realtime customer activity notifications. Also displayed on the Status Board is the LeaderBoard which is a rotating panel that shows a) The top($) 10 Accepted Quotes this WEEK b) The top($) 10 Accepted Quotes this MONTH, c) The top($) 10 Accepted Quotes this YEAR, d) The top($) 10 Outstanding Quotes this WEEK e) The top($) 10 Outstanding Quotes this MONTH, f) The top($) 10 Outstanding Quotes this YEAR. Inbox: The inbox is very similiar to the QuoteValet Dashboard inbox within QuoteWerks. Peer Reviews: This will show you any peer reviews requested on documents that you have the rights to view. Approvals: This will show you any approval requests on documents that you have the rights to approve. My Summary: Very similiar to the Executive Summary is limited in that it will only show information about your own documents and it does not include the Comparative Analysis feature found in the Executive Summary. Find: This is a great way to quickly find a quote and see its current status and all activity history without actually opening it in QuoteWerks.

For QuoteValet users, on the QuoteValet Dashboard payment tab would receive a message "Results have been limited by user rights.", but in some cases it should have actually displayed "There are payment(s) not shown because the document has not been imported yet." This would be the case of a QuoteValet Mobile quote or QuoteValet Shopping Cart order that has not been imported into the local QuoteWerks database yet. In this case, you would need to import the document from the Inbox tab.

For QuoteValet users, there is a new Activity Notifications tab in the QuoteValet setup under the QuoteValet tab of the Tools->Options menu. For key QuoteValet events like when a QuoteValet Mobile quote is created, a quote is accepted, or when payment is made, in addition to the sales rep receiving email notifications, you can specify additional users/email addresses to receive a CC or BCC of the notification. This is especially useful for keeping the accounting department in the loop when payments are received and for keeping sales managers in the loop when quotes are accepted.

With Audit Trail Tracking, key events are recorded creating an audit trail of changes made to the document such as: a) when the document is saved b) who an email is sent from the quote, email address (to/subject/attachments), c) when the document is uploaded to QuoteValet for customer, peer review, approval, mobile template, d) when the document is updated with customers selections from QuoteValet, e) when the document is converted to an order or invoice, f) when the document is exported to QuickBooks or Peachtree, g) when the document approval is requested through QuoteWerks or QuoteValet, and h) when the document is approved through QuoteWerks or QuoteValet. The current date, time, and logged-in user is recorded along with the event. Using the "Audit Trail Transaction Record Macros" option under the Security tab of the Tools->Options menu you can choose what other information from the document you would like to record in the even such as GrandTotal, LineCount, DocStatus, etc. Also on the Security tab is a "Enable Audit Trail Backup files" checkbox. This will create a backup copy of the document (under the \History\AuditTrail folder) every time the document is saved. Under the File->Properties menu you can see the audit trail events and also a listing of the "Audit Trail Backup Files" and "Automatic Backup Files".

For QuoteValet Mobile users, that use ConnectWise, there is now a new Contacts bottom tab where you can choose the ConnectWise contact from your ConnectWise database while creating a QuoteValet mobile quote.

If a document template was uploaded to QuoteValet Mobile and then deleted from QuoteWerks from the File->New window, it would not be deleted from QuoteValet Mobile.

The mobile quoting solution for QuoteWerks - QuoteValet mobile is now available. QuoteValet Mobile is included in your QuoteValet subscription at no additional charge. QuoteValet mobile is a platform independent mobile quoting solution for tablets. Right from your iPad (or HTML5 compatible tablet), you can create a quote for a customer onsite and email it to them while you are still onsite. Particularly useful for quick small orders. Once created, the QuoteValet engine takes over, allowing the customer to choose options, electronically sign, and pay by credit card.

For QuoteValet Mobile users, QuoteWerks templates can now be uploaded to QuoteValet by choosing the "Save Template to QuoteValet Mobile" option on the File->Save As Template window. For existing templates you can choose the "Save Template to QuoteValet Mobile" option on the File->Save window. The makes the template available on QuoteValet Mobile.

For QuoteValet users, on the QuoteValet Dashboard, the reporting has been enhanced. The Manage tab has been renamed to Reporting, and now there are some new reports. There are separate "Customer Activity" and "Internal Activity" reports. The Expiring/Expired reports have been separated into "Expiring" and "Expired" for more effect use. A new report "Uploaded for Customer Acceptance" is useful for knowing how many quotes where uploaded for customer acceptance during any given date range. Another new report is "Accepted (with balance due)" useful in tracking down those customers that have not paid yet. Another related new report is the "Payment Received" report. Lastly to pair with the new QuoteValet Mobile functionality there is a new "QuoteValet Mobile Documents" report. The QuoteValet document activity history now is color coded so that Customer activity is different than Sales Rep activity. You can now also filter documents by "Doc Name contains", "Company starts with", and Source (QuoteWerks or QuoteValet Mobile).
