QuickBooks - ErrorCode 500 during export

Issue:

When user is attempting to export a document to QuickBooks, and is prompted to create a record such as shipping method, they receive

ErrorCode 500
Severity: Warn
Description: The query request has not been fully completed. There was a required element ("AAAO1005") that could not be found in QuickBooks.

The document number will match whatever the quote or order number was for the export.

Cause:

The value for the field that was prompted for creation is too long for the corresponding field in QuickBooks. Example:

Shipping method in QuoteWerks is listed as "Electronic Delivery". When prompted to create the shipping method, user receives the error. If the shipping method is then reduced to "Elec Delivery" in QuoteWerks, the automatic creation is successful.

Solution:

Abbreviate or adjust the field so that it fits the character limit of the field in QuickBooks.
